Kids Yoga! July Series
Ages 5-11. The classes are 45 minutes and are beginning level. $10 single session or $35 for all 4. Every Wednesday in July: 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th. 12-12:45pm
Why yoga? Kids live in a hurry-up world of busy parents, school pressures, lessons, and competitive sports. We usually don’t think of these influences as stressful for our kids, but often they are.
Luckily, yoga can help counter these pressures. When children learn techniques for self-health and relaxation, they can navigate life’s challenges with a little more ease. Yoga encourages self-esteem and body awareness with a physical activity that’s noncompetitive.
Kids derive enormous benefits from yoga. Physically, it enhances their flexibility, strength, coordination, and body awareness. In addition, their concentration and sense of calmness and relaxation improves.
